Hi guys, seem to be have a strange problem with the check engine light in my car... (ST165 JDM - 1st gen 3s-gte) Start car, idles fine etc etc.... as soon as i touch the accelerator, boom engine light comes on... ok turn car off and check for error..... NOTHING??? light just flashes like there is no code... fair enough, start car again, let it idle to make sure engine light doesnt come on while idling...it doesnt, take off and start driving and engine light is on again... gave it a drive around the block to make sure it didnt just go off by it self and it didnt until i got back home and let it idle to cool down (note; didnt touch the accelerator) and engine light goes off after about 30 seconds???? Still no code stored tho??? So; light doesnt come on until i touch the throttle Doesnt seem to be in limp mode when driving with the light on all fluids are fine have reset ecu and also tried a spare ecu really not sure what the problem is but its bugging the crap out of me and only just started happening?? any ideas?? turns out i bridged the intercooler wires, to run constantly and fixed the problem?? haha weird.... thanks anyways dude
