Your 165 looks nice man. shame about the peeling paint, but if you have auto paint experience or know someone who is, and have enough money to fix it, it shouldn't be too big of a deal. nice buy mate!

you dont need spring compressors. just pull the whol strut out and take off the strut top and spring retainer (wich you need to do to put them on the new strut anywayz. thenm just lift the spring off

Well a little update for everyone. I changed my fuel filter this week and so far this has seemed to have fixed my fuel quirk. In the process i noticed that number 1 and 4 spark plug wires had popped out of their seat. (scratching my head I asked myself how might this have happened) So i reseated my sparkplug wires and primed my fuel lines again after changing the filter then took tracy out for a test drive and was plesently surprised I found constant fuel from the moment my foot hit the pedal and great compression breaking with out sputter! I then adjusted and readjusted my idle to between 750-800rpm at an idle. All thats left is to fix my oil leak and put in a new trans with new fly wheel and clutch and she will be dam near mint aside from paint and very minor body work. I already got a quote from a local shop and for body and paint its going to cost me between $1500 and $2500 at the most. I picked out the wheels that i plan to buy for my car next year if not sooner and I will link those below. Thank you all for your comments and advice.

Quick update for everyone. I put new front brake pads on today (porterfield rs4), i love these brakes so far with the very very little driving i have done on them. They came in time for my trip this coming wed. to Spokane Washington. I'll have an update for you on theses pads after this trip. Also ill have pics of my front leather door cards tomorrow after i clean and wash Tracy. I'm still waiting to hear back on a few jobs so progress is slow but i do what i can when i can.
