    Hi
I was curious to know what is a good price for a 1986 celica gts.5speed.in great condition meaning no rust. engine has timing belt done and has 200kms.
sunroof. lumbar seats. magnaflow exhaust. power windows and locks. liftback. everything works. lots of history on car. power mirrors. paint is in great condition silver/blue metallic. seats are mint no rips or tears.

What would be a good price?

tough to say, it really depends on local, and supply and demand

in the lower mainland a 4th gen GTS in good shape goes for around $1500 to $2000. you can usually start to find 5th gens starting at $1500

np, my GTS has over 320k on it and still runs strong.

if i had the space, i would keep the GTS as a daily Driver and use the trac as a sunday driver

I think $1,800 for your car is a bit low. Given it's minty condition, yours is worth $2,000+ . However, having said that, I would never let it go for that. Very hard to find 20+year old Celicas without some rust.

The only thing I don't like about the 86GTS is that it doesn't have the heated side mirrors, but that can be easily upgraded.

Since when does the 86 GTS not have heated mirrors? Both my GT and my GT-S have had heated side mirrors...weird. Maybe I just got lucky.

Odd. We got ripped off. My Canadian sales brochure shows that heated mirrors only became available in 1987. I had to upgrade mine.

Seems odd that Toyota would make heated mirrors standard for the U.S. but not Canada.

Very odd, considering it's freakin' Canada, lol.
But yeah, my sister bought an 87GTS brand new in 1987 and the sales brochure says, "new for 1987, colour-coded heated mirrors".
