Kay here is the deal. I am looking to lower my car, but I dont no what springs i should use. (B&G, Intrax, Eibach etc...). I have heard a lot of good things bout all of them. I dont want the stock spring rate and i do't want coilovers, But i do want aleast a 1.5 drop all round. what do you guy recemend. Are there any other brand of lowering springs that fit the 4 gen that will fit my need? what to do guy think i should do. let me no anything helps.
eibach 1.0 suspension techniques 1.3 b&g 1.6 Intrax 1.75 im quite sure its normally between eibach and intrax depends what u want. i have some eibachs on the way oh ya dont get ebay "coilovers" unless they are real coilovers. fake ones suck haha
I just bought the eibach prokit from shox.com last night. Its only $196.00 with free shipping to the states. ANd I bought all new kyb struts for them.
and also if your gonna drop..change your shocks out too..Something cheap and simple are the KYB agx`s up front and the kyb gr2 in the rear......One thing you must remember to get are camber bolts and a alignment 8)
explain these camber bolts a little more to me?....first time I've lowered a vehicle. And also I am about to order up urethane bushings from http://www.toyheadauto.com/PerformanceP ... 6_to_1989_ (one set of 1044K and one set of 1363K) do I need to mess with any alignment settings when I get those too? edit: sorry for the thread hijack
Hey I just removed a set of Suspension Technics 1.5" drop springs from my GTS, I've really got no use for them now. They worked great with my AGX front strut inserts and GR-2 rear struts, ran full season of track events with no problems, just not stiff enough for track use! They work great on the street without a jarring ride like some others. Make me an offer on these, their just taking up space in my shop. racerb 8)
A bolt fitted with an eccentric that is turned to change a wheel's camber setting. Camber bolts are typically used on control arms and lower strut mounts.
hey shmoot those bushings are the right ones to get. Don't worry about those messing with camber settings as they are produced to give you stock alignment assuming all your other suspension is fine. While you're at it, get the sway bar bushings as well.
Hey that sounds great, let me know when you want to get them. Oh and I'm set up with PayPal if thats ok with you. I'll check shipping also, just to see, shouldn't be much. racerb
yeah paypal sound good to me. Just let me no how much shipping will be. then i will send you the 80 plus shipping when you let me no. It will proble be sometime next week
Hey that sounds great to me, I'll get the shipping cost and let you know, and we can get togather on sending it out to you. racerb
