oh wow nice job man. but yeah i still think it'd be too much orange if i painted it...oh well, i'll just leave it black for the time being. nice photoshopping skills.

really nice bro! i like it a lot! did u leave off rear mudguards for a reason? i think they'd compliment the valance and front mudguards with a lil more black.. juz a thought tho.. :D

i never did want rear mud guards, i always thought they looked awkward from behind.

Great new pics, that colour looks so good both in daylight and at night.

I generally prefer the black air dam, however that's if the car has the stock black body moldings, side skirts, mudflaps. In your case, as you've painted all the black stuff orange, I'd do the air dam too; it kinda sticks out by itself.

Nice colour choice, I didn't think I'd like the orange but I do. Very different. Did you DIY or was it painted by a shop?

whoa i haven't checked this thread in forever.

the car used to be very rusty, as alot of the 4th gens are around here. i got the body redone at a family friend's house. he did all the metal work and grinding and such all at home in his garage. then he also painted using a booth at my uncle's body shop. the end result is what you see. my dad and i were the ones that swapped the motor, and it's been running excellent for the past year that it's been revived. if i didn't pick up this car, it would still be rotting away in some guy's backyard here. i'd say it's gotten a good treatment.

future mods have kinda been put on hold cause i'm super busy with school and such, but i know you guys love hearing about mods so i'll say i'm planning on doing a 2nd or 3rd gen gte swap next summer after school lets out, also going with a new set of wheels and tires, preferabally a lower offset, probably staggered offset actually. also thinking of picking up a set of recaro seats from a 98 or 99 JDM Honda Integra Type-R, black with red stitching. that'll probably be it for next summer, then we'll see what happens after that. I can't wait to roll around with my friend in his Yellow 91 MR2, built 3s-gte swap, Precision SC-61 Turbo, Meth Injection. It put out 379rwhp last summer on 19lbs of boost and ran a 12.1 in the 1/4 mile. There's not alot of nice toyotas in our area, so we try to step it up a bit.
haha we definitely have the citrus theme going on with our car colours
