The plastic peice around your door locks has always been missing from my car and i was wondering if 1988 GT plastic bevels would work on a 1988 all trac. Thanks

short story....yes all the interiors are relatively the same.

long story...I've never been able to get those bloody things to fit right once they have been off

There's a little push-pull method to remove them and I agree, they're tricky little buggers if you don't do it absolutely right. I've got a couple of loose ones too.

Both my Celis had loose ones that kept falling off. I just keet em in my glove box, but I've been meaning to get some glue or something to hold them in good.

I have the originals but the metal and plastic hinges have broken off of them. I can pop them in but as soon as the auto locks are used they just pop out, its a little thing but its just a eye sore in my interior.

There's some gummy stuff, I believe it's called 'rubber butyl' or something like that. Anyways, it's sticky stuff and can be re-used. Toyota used it to attach and seal the plastic barrier sheet inside your door. I pulled some off and used it to keep the metal tabs in place.
