Last week we had a wind storm blow through the northeast. This was a close one. No more staying outside! Both of my cars are in the garage now. Here:

close call! bastard trees... This might be an odd question but that part of the fame are you jacking the red all track on in the first few pics?

I needed to find a location where I could place the jacks where I could get all the suspension off. There is a channel that runs down the whole car on either side and I cuffed it using the jack stands. I wanted safety, so I left the jack stands under the car also. That thing is heavy and I was laying under the car.

I am currently working on four cars:

    ST165 (Red) - St185RC swap, 17" rims
Swapped ST162 (White) - PSG bodykit, 17" rims, and finally painted!
    92 Toyota Pickup ExCab SR5 - 3" body lift, 33" BFG MT
01 VW Cabrio (girlfriends) - SELL! (We are leaning towards Rav4)

We are also looking for a house!

    Thanks,

    Chris

Nice job on the red and white one. Did you repainted all the parts or did you buy them brandnew?
If you repainted them, with paint did you use? thanks

wow, the suspension looks great. very nice work. quick question, what did you use to paint the underbody, subframe, etc? por15? and how did you apply it? brush?

im in the process of doing the whole underbody of my white 165 and laying on your back and brushing sure gets old really quick!

That is exactly what I did. I first removed everything off the bottom of the car before I painted it. I now have a 92 Toyota SR5 ExCab and I am going to spray it on this time!

I actually blasted and then powdercoated all those parts including the subframe. The brakes are powdercoated also.

    Thanks,

    Chris

i think i saw in mafix's post that he sprayed it. do you have to buy the special por15 solvent to thin it out? or is there something equivalent?

yes i did spray mine. you can do either way. do not thin it out at all. if you do spray it be prepared to do a major cleaning on the gun.
