hey guys , well im selling my celica , the work is too much $$$ , have to pull engine etc and all that crap and it is gonna cost 3x more than i paid for the car, ill be looking around at some cars very soon i have no idea what to choose next tho , id like to thank all of you's out for helping me fix the problems with the car , you all have been a great help and it is a great community to be involved with , so thanks alot everybody i might get another celica not too sure what model or anything , but ill still come on here and talk aload of crap , as since this is such a good forums and no one gives you shit lol anyway thanks so much st162.com ps.: ill still be coming on here ok
meph your scaring me !! , how did you know !!! lol !! soo freaky or did i mention it above , when i was looking before the celica i looked at mr2's and still gonna check out some , and if i get a mk2 mr2 with the 3sge , i guess i could still post on here, tho my celica will be off to a new owner that doesnt know the problems lol , local auctions can sort that out it had a good run with me and i definitly gave it a clean up , as i intend to do with my next car who knows i might even get another celica , im checking out my options at the moment , ill post up the car on here if when i get a new one i guess im not ready to leave this forums just yet {mr2s are one of my favourite cars , seems to show im my pictures folder when ive got over 5800 mr2 pics , no im not crazy , i guess im just scaring u all } tho to add to ur answer, i could fix her but $$$ is alot more than i paid and over here we have sooo many jap cars i can go round the corner and find another celica , i guess it is alot differnt over where you are
I gave $700 for Mudhoney, and I am currently budgeting $3500 for her swap. I guess it is a different situation though. I tend to get attached to my cars. When I bought her I intended to do a swap. I wish you luck with whatever platform you choose next, but after owning almost every desirable American car, I am more than satisfied with what the Celica does and doesn't offer. Don't be a stranger, and if you are interested in getting rid of those corners before you sell her, we might be able to work something out for shipping and a trade.
corners , that popular over there ... god you should come to nz for getting parts , yeah next time i go to wreckers ill have a look , but cant promise anything , i went in a green mr2 last night and can say i do like it , before i get rid of the car im getn the rust done for the wof and giving her a big clean up , every tho she is already clean
As far as the 4th Gen JDM corners go, they aren't super popular, they are just different. You don't see them here and I like the look of them better. As far as 5th Gen corners go, hehe, well, I have seen them go for $200 US on eBay and the like used. I know of a factory contact to get them brand new for $65, but I haven't gotten around to getting a set yet. I don't know the part number for the 4th Gen corners, so I haven't looked them up yet.
