unfortunately it's 8-9 hours away in new jersey. but still, if i can find someone to make the journey with me (but they're all sissies and will say "it's going to snow") um, yeah, it's a pointless post. but i found basically what to me is just about a perfect 4th gen (well, besides alltracs of course)...if i can get to it (and still afford it after all the gas) so who's from the jersey area and wants to meet me part way?? j/k um, but wish me luck. i need another car and it's near impossible to find a decent 4th gen around here.
Some one on AT.net has a sick looking preface 4th gen GTS with an alltrac bumper custom black and navy blue paint... I'd so love to rock it
thanks guys. well, i haven't actually figured a ride out yet, so i guess maybe the snow won't be an issue unless i go when another "storm" comes through. i'm still looking for other options though. i shouldn't say that one was necessarily perfect. but it was just really nice to me. haha. reminded me a lot of my 86 celica when it was still in nice shape. i'm still combing through all the different craigslists trying to find options.
any of you guys(on the board, not just from this thread) live close to philly?? if so, can i trust you to check a car out for me, and not buy it out from under my nose?? haha. it's just an 87 gt, nothing special about it. i don't even know yet how rusty/not rusty it is. it's not currently running because it's been sitting. i'm planning on taking a battery and cable terminal out (he said it needs them) and a little fresh gas for the tank, and find out if it will be driveable after that. if anyone lives close-by and could help me save a 7 hour trip (or 14 i guess), that'd be cool (i can send you a little paypal or something for your time) just an idea. i don't expect anyone to actually do this, but figured i'd throw it out there edit: to be more specific, the car is in coatesville, outside of phillly to the west.
