I've got a full set of Infinity Reference speakers that were installed in my GT for about 2 weeks before the car bit it. They had pretty good quality for the money. Can't handle too much power, and bass is pretty weak, but they weren't bad at all for the price, and a subwoofer would round them out nicely. My GT-S came with a nice system, it also has Reference speakers up front.
awesome awesome. hey another question for you guys. my stereo has a tilt feature. but when i mounted my stereo the trim around the center piece covers part of the top of the stereo. i didnt have time to mess with the brackets to see if i can place them further back, but i am wondering how many of you guys trimmed your trim or sanded it or what. also i have this plastic piece that is glued in to where a pocket or tape player would bee. do you guys mount your stereos on the top or bottom? thanks!
I'd mount the stereo on the top, bottom could make it difficult to reach the buttons with the shifter, plus you'd have to reach farther.
cool cool. ii am just trying to figure out where to bolt the brackets so that my face can detach and tilt. probably figure it out this weekend. we will see how it goes. hahaha also pics will come as soon as i find my camera charger. sorry!
so i found a set of Infinity 3052cf. not the most powerful speakers, but they are only $30 and i get to pick up locally so it works out. 25rms max...not soooooo great but hey they are cheap and brand name and "brand new" hahaha i will let you guys now how it goes this weekend installing those along with the head unit and possibly the rears with my kenwood 4 1/4
