my part finally came in, unfortunately its the water outlet for a 2.2 and not a 2.0 but it is close enough since i couldnt find one at all, nobody here seemed to have one and there wasnt one on ebay so i had to make this work. the bolt pattern was the same but there was issues with my heater hose hitting the dizzy cap and kinking off, same with the bypass hose, i put a foot of new hose on it and it still kinked. Im going to just install a T-splitter to where the bypass hooks up to the housing, then run one end to the heater and the other to the bypass and then just cap off the end by the dizzy and then problem solved. Luckily its pretty much summer time right now so i dont need the heater anyway so its fine the way it is at the moment, its not running hot or anything so its fine for now. All of my sensors fit in with one exception, i had to move one of them to a different location since it bottomed out where i needed it to go, so i drilled out the inside of the hole where the temp guage sensor went and swapped em out. I dont have any room on the housing for my vaccume switches, one for the egr and one for the evaporator canister, but i had already disconnected those anyway so they arent needed.
the only other issue i had is the radiator spout sits at a downward angle now so i had to rotate my hose some to get it on there without kinking.

Did a wee bit of sculpting today, i want sideskirts but since you cant find them around here i decided to make my own. Im using clay to make the shapes i want and then making the parts out of fiberglass, this is my first time working with fiberglass and am learning alot about the process. Right now the part is drying and here in about an hour ill be putting on another layer to stregthen it up so definately not done yet lol.

    and of course, PICS!!!!

A small update, been quite busy lately so not as much done as i would like to have done, .... i straightened out the hood as it was a bit bent in the middle, too high on one side and too low on the other side and it didnt line up with my lights when it was closed either. Got creative with it as i got her straightened out and now it looks a ton better just because everything lines up now lol. Sorry fellas i didnt get pics of it before or after yet lol. On a side note my passenger side cv joint just went bad , i can hear it when i make a sharp left turn and it sounds like someone knocking on the under side of my car lol. DAMN GREMLINS!!!! Hahaha, I also got the heater lines redone so now i dont have one up against my dizzy kinking the line off, I also finally got around to removing my drivers door handle and filling it in with a blank and a small amount of bondo to smooth it out, I had to go to work right after i did it so i went ahead and primered it and that showed me a very small line i still need to fix. The fender skirt on this side is almost done, just a very small amount of fine tuning and sanding the hard part which is the inside but it is very close to done. Just a little bit more to do on this side and ill be able to finish sanding this side and it will be dine and ill be able to move on to the passenger side finally and try the very tricky job of mirroring the driver side skirts lol. Also have a dent in the passenger side fender to knock out but all in all the passenger side should be alot less trouble and has less rust than the side im on. I also have some new window tint to install but i have to first remove the ugly purple tint first lol.
I also already have the yellow vinyl im going to accent the interior with when im done with the body finally. Its going to be black with yellow accents so should look good.

Ive had absolutely no luck findind parts so here is a short list of what im looking for, is anyone has any of these items plz let me know. The scrap yards around here tend to scrap anything below 1995.

passenger side door handle, i have power windows so it needs to have the spot for the switch. I just need the handle, it comes off easy, just a few screws from the back side of the doorpanel. My handle is just a nub, someone who owned the car before me ripped it apart somehow.

front drivers side seat belt, my return spring snapped and it wont retract at all. It was like that when i bought it and i rebent the old spring and made it work up untill now cause it broke again. I really just need the spring but i wouldnt mind the seat belt itself since it would be alot easier lol.

center console lid, mine is in pretty rough shape and wont even attach anymore so i just leave it off.

wiper control arm. When i use my wipers and try to use the delay feature it just rotates on the shaft full circle, the delay is stuck at only one setting.

and now for the pics, we all know you love the pics lol.

Finally replaced my bad axle today and went ahead and did some experimenting with some plexiglass since i have a bunch of it just laying around anyway lol. I tried to copy my design for the drivers side so i can make the piece for the passenger side. It came out alot better and smoother than i thought it would.
Tomorrow im going to finally install my door popper for the passenger side and get rid of that door handle as well.

As i said, progress is slow going but i am making progress. Ever so slowly working my way around the car, fixing rust, patching holes, realigning body parts, and a whole hell of alot of sanding as about half of the clear coat is peeling off and therefore has to be removed. I went ahead and sprayed some white primer on her today just to see what it would look like.:reddevil

    Whats illegal?

I still have to remove my inner fenderwell and push my lower fender outwards so it lines up with the bottom of the door, you cant really see it in the pic but its been pushed inwards about an 1/8 of an inch and its driving me nuts lol.

Holy mother of effort.. You've thrown it up a gear, hey? lol
Looking awesome.. Can't wait to see where you end up with it.

I'm a fan of the white, I'd personally go down that path... It's a bitch to keep clean, but when it is clean... It looks CLEAN, lol

im liking how the white primer looks as well, but then again im probably just liking it because it is fresh and clean paint rather than how the rest of the car looks lol.

Could be, lol.. I think white looks very modern compared to some other colours, on the Celica.. Sparks newer life into it.
    I'm a big fan of LoneWolf's tan/brown colour, too..

White aside, what would you go for? Fresh coat of blue?

I was planning on yellow, with black accents and a stripe down the side with GT-S in it. Im very very tired of the blue.
