Ok so i had a few requests for this so im posting this here for all to see and hopefully find useful. The leds are available cheap on ebay and you can get them in a wide variety of colors.

    remove these screws.

remove the cover, it pops off and tends to get a little hung up where the hazard and defroster buttons was, of i forgot to mention you have to pop those out and unplug them. they pop right out with a screwdriver.

that allows you access to the guages but dont get too excited, your not quite there yet.

now you have to remove these screws so you can access the two on the bottom of the guages.

and this one too that is hidden behind the speaker cover

now you should be able to pop the lower cover down, not remove it just lower it a bit to get access to the screws you need to remove to get the cluster out. two on bottom and two on top

now grab the guages by both sides and give ti a little yank, at this point the only thing holding it in place is the speedo cable which pops off as you pull it out.
yellow round thing is the speedo cable, it is mounted in place.

now at this point there is two ways you can do this, you can remove the bulbs one by one and replace with the leds and then turn on the lights and see if they light up or not, if they dont then just unplug the bulb and rotate it 180 degrees and put it back in and it will work. To me that is the easy way to do it. Now if you are one of those who would rather unplug it from the harness and do it that way i went a bit further and even marked where the positive and negative points are so you can get them in without having to test it over and over.

now that info is useless if you dont know to test the bulbs to see which leg is positive and which is negative, for that you need a 9v battery and a marker to mark which leg is negative.

now just reinstall it and replace all of the screws and your all good, give it a little push when you line it up with the speedo cable to get it to pop back on.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I was told that the auto gauges are different from the manual one. (If this is because of the ECT lights or something else im not sure) Those gauges do look sick though!

Yeah sadly those wont work for mine for a few reasons, no ect light ,, though they have a few different styles there that have them, just in a different location so can be modded to work, and those go to like over 200 mph where mine only goes as high as 150mph so that would suck. Not ordering from them, but am on the lookout for a set that would work. I have even entertained modding a different guage cluster to fit. with a bit of rewireing. And just thought of a way to make my needles any color i want them to be, red is what i want lol, not faded yellow like i have.
