I have an 86 celica 3sgte swap with the 92 v6 Camry 5 speed transmission. Its hard going into gears sometimes. It doesn't grind. I just replaced the transmission, and the last one felt exactly the same. The shifter kinda clunks into gears instead of going smoothly. Any ideas? Thanks much in advance.

it might be your gear shift, the ball joins on mine were pretty badly damaged resulting in a hard to shift feel.

I was starting to think it was in the shifter it self to. I replaced the 2 shifted cable bushings. With aluminum ones. It made it harder to shit. Not wanting to really evn go into 4th

Well my last trans I ran it till it was dry like a dumb ass. Till it burned up. But it shifted the same. Using 80 90 I believe
