I sent an email to http://ceikaperformance.com/ an they made them for me. It took about 3-4 weeks from when I
ordererd the coilovers until they arrived to Iceland.
I´m really happy with the service there.

Gotta say I like those wheels better than the ones I had.
So now i have to find some time to install the coilovers and do some more changes to the car, next thing on the menu is going to be some fender flares. want to make it a bit wider.

I like the wheels themselves, but I prefer an offset that doesn't bump the wheels out from under the well. I'd be afraid of sandblasting the paint from the metal.

I was hoping you will get to fender flares while browsing through the pictures. Little rocks thrown up by the front wheels would shread the paint from the side otherwise.

I tought you will keep the oem look with some decent lowering and nice wheels, but that offset requires more modification :) Looking forward to see the outcome, judging by the things you have done already, it should be a quality work :)

What is the tire size & make?, Rim width, offset?

Looks great but maybe a little too wide for the fenders

The tires are Accelera Alpha. size 205/45R16 and the rims are Sportmax XXR 002. size 16x8 and offset 0

I´ve been searching for some fender flares and no one seems to make anything for the ST162
so I ordered some universial fiberglass fender flares that I will have to modify a bit to make them fit, but that won´t be a problem :)
I now some good guys who can help me with the fiberglass if I have to do anything big to them.

originally i planned to keep the car original but the rear fenders were in a really bad shape because of the rust as you can see earlier in this thread,
and the repairs we did on them were ok but i´m not 100% happy with it so I have to replace the rear fenders or just cut away all the damaged part of the wheel arches and put some good looking flares over it and make it a bit wider.
and I really like those deep, retro looking wheels so I decided to go for that look.

like you my arches were bad off. i did the latter of what you said. weld in my own metal and add some flares.
those xxr's here are 600usd each. i can't imagine how much you paid for them.

205's on 8" - wow, no wonder. I thought the tyres looked familiar
    Ours are 16x6.5 et39 using 205's

A problem I noticed with stretching the tyres like that is you get bad sidewall wear and the tyre centre doesn't get used at all

I think your only choice is flares, the Golf Mk1 ones look the best imo

This is what I'd like to do one day

I like the rim's and tires I also say it will only look good after the flares are on and also suggest golf one or golf 3 which are plastic type which I would consider better.

    they were not cheap ;)

I´m not to worryed about stretching the tires a bit cause I dont drive the car that mutch so they will last for many years.
I drive the car about 3000-5000 km a year and half of the time im running on winter tires so that won´t be a problem.

I´m going for the old school bolt on fender flares look.

I ordered those flares and now I´m hoping that I don´t have to modify them alot to make it fit.
